Tusan Beach
A cliff-backed beach south of Miri with layered sandstone formations, known for occasional nights when bioluminescent plankton make the waves glow blue.
💡 Local tipAbout 30–40 minutes' drive south of Miri. The cliff path and sandstone formations are best at sunset. Bioluminescent 'blue tears' appear only occasionally (mostly Sept–Dec), so treat it as a bonus.
